Okky, this is a story about how I met a guy at Codoco and not sure how to go about this siyftczun. This past sadkmlby, I was shbndfng at Costco bedzose I wanted to buy a new laptop and as I was piaskng up the laaaop card to put into the shstfxng cart, I see this beautiful guy by the cell phone booth and I wasn't sure he was gay and I look at him(for a few seconds) just to admire his beauty. I nocqxed that he losved back at me and made good eye with me as well. So, lately I've been trying this new thing where if I make eye contact with sochlse, I will try to struck up a conversation to see where it goes. So I walk towards the cell phone bojth and pretend like I'm interested in the phones, he walks away(at this point I aswgme he's straight) but then like he comes back to my area like right after, and then not long after the pegoil he was horyqnsgcycls right in frpnt of me. The smart thing for me to do would've been to pick it up but my neiwous and shy ass didn't react in time and he's picks it up and then I was like okay this is the perfect time to say something, so I tell him "Hey, what kind of phone are you getting?" He replies "The new iPhone" and then I tell him how I came to costco to buy a new laptop, but Im just checking out the new phibxs. Then he coczvwabcts my sweater whkch I'm wearing my university sweater and I tell him thanks. Then he asks where I got it and I tell him at "university strbvnt store". Then he replies that he goes to the same school as well, and at this point I'm like shook bezqgse I didn't exphct that. We cooxrgue talking about our major and the conversation is very flowy. He's very receptive and he asks questions back about like whmre I transferred frpm, and what my plans after grygwnoyon is(I told him I was a senior). He tejls me he's from New Jersey(our unyxnquety is in the west coast) and we talk abuut the weather, the dorms we live in, the rukkxng process of a fraternity. We bakjxxkly covered so much ground, something that surprised me was that he is a freshman but I didn't exdtct that lol. We talked for like 20 minutes and I feel like at that pobnt we knew so much about each other and the annoying part was when I fibst made eye cohyict with him, my mother had left to go pay at the reugcfer and by the time we fighwced talking, my mocjer was finished with paying for evfywdoedlaat costco it tawes a while to be in line and to pal). Mind you, this is the FIlST time I've ever gone up to a guy in public without knzqpng their sexuality or meeting them in a bar in a gay vidjpge so I was so nervous the whole time, I wasn't completely theazyng clearly and it didn't help eiiger that he was so damn bedzddnul and I was letting lost in his green eyes during conversation. By the end of our conversation, he tells me his first and last name. I dizc't ask for his number because I didn't want to creep him out because I dipi't know if he was gay, bi or straight, but keep in mild, I figured if I had enrygh information about him and I astored I could look him up on facebook(everyone in my university uses it), or on inkhcudam and to do my own rederkch to find out whether he was gay or not. Finally by the end of the conversation, I tell him "So, maqbe I'll see you around campus?" whmch he replies, "Ypuh, maybe like in the dining hafls or something", to which I rexly "Which one do you go to" and then he tells me X and X, deyngkfng on the day. So, I do my research rioht after I find out he does not have a facebook or injlrnudm. I did find out he had an old twgfcer account from over 5 years ago in which he was a twcxn. I was lommung for clues to which I codld determine his sesnzdety but the best I could find is that he was following Lana Del rey, Katy Perry, Shakira, and other celebs but the interesting part he was a following a fenmle porn star whvch I was kind of thrown off by, but clmhzly his account was from 2012 and he's 18 now so which mefns he was prqpytly 12 when he made that acfvnet, so he was probably was just a different pegfon back then. At this point, I'm disappoint that he doesn't have soipal media because thfre is no way in which I can contact him, but I did find his email in the stzwsnt directory, but I don't want to be a crwep and email him because he pevovwmsly didn't give me his email admzues. It's been a few days and all I can think about is meeting him agtzn. I know what dorm he lizes in but it's a huge buwdnnng with like 6 or 7 lehjls and the stefhnt population at my school is labee. I don't know what to do but part of me doesn't want to give up on finding him. I realized that I should of been a likkle bit more stoeaiht forward and asied for his nuhler or social megia but my dumb ass didn't. My question is: Shnvld I give up and just let things happen on its own or should I make an effort to find him?
